Essential Daily job duties and responsibilities:

-              Prepare and decorate cakes, cookies, icing, dessert including edible decorations preparation in accordance to established scaling, portion and presentation standards in line with management guidelines.

-              Maintain a lean and orderly workstation and adhere to health and safety standards in line with management guidelines and policies.

-              In-depth knowledge of sanitation principles, food preparation and baking techniques.

-              Manage and ensure product supplies for retail showcase including assisting in continued organisation of stockers of all perishable and nonperishable consumables.

-              Maintain accurate counts on all produced products ensuring no discrepancies in amount of demand and actual supplies.

-              Able to analyse and identify products quality and propose better solutions on regular basis.

-              Maintain food preparation equipment to manufacturer’s instruction and notify management of all shortages, and equipment maintenance related issues.

-              Manage personal production of all products to fulfil orders and maintain an inventory of fresh goods at all times while managing time effectively.

-              Maintain a professional appearance at all times and maintain professional relationships with all coworkers.

-              To address, investigate, provide professional solutions should any issues arise in relation to produced works.

Min Skills, Qualification and Experiences:

-              Posses' min 8 years of relevant experience as cake artist and able to prepare a wide variety of goods that is nicely presentable.

-              Production, commercial and professional bakery experience required.

-              Availability to work on weekends, special holidays and peak seasons as required.

-              Ability to focus, avoid distraction, and work efficiently and cleanly under pressure.

-              Able to perform additional and ad hoc duties as requested by the management.

-              Basic understanding of cake order process from beginning to end

-              Understanding and knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling procedures and a commitment to quality and what IT takes to achieve high standard of quality.

-              Cooperate well with variety of personalities and individuals and participate in professional manner to accomplish the the operational standards.

-              Articulate information, both verbally and in writing, in a way that can be easily understood by co-workers, customers and management.

-              Ability to accept responsibilities of choices and constructive criticism in order to raise and maintain the performance standard.
